Hello World .....

I'M A PROUD FATHER OF 'AALIAH BATRISYIA....

i never dreamed that someday that i'll have my own daughter to take care off. Uishh ...its a indescribable feeling. Feels like i just got married but it’s been close to a year devoting my life to my lovely Nadzuha and now my dearly 'aaliah.. Since its been ages from my last entry, I’ll share that "magical" moment.. The day i felt so humbled and happy..

I honestly felt that god had everything to do with our new joy. Entering the 38th week, i was ecstatic and the rush of "something" or "anything" could happen to my wife just kept my adrenaline level high. I had huge supports from my parents and i do mean huge! Just imagine that they would send and fetch my wife all the way to and from Perodua rawang from the fear that something bad could happen? Sad for me that my work kept me somehow distance but still my friends in Flex gave the utmost support in times where i was not around and had to go in an instance should anything arrises. I thank Aiman, Wahab and Ling for all the mechanical support during this trying times hehehe.

Those 2 final weeks was exciting! I just can't keep quiet. In addition, all the scans and 3d imaging done before can't tell actually whether our baby is a girl or a boy that add to the excitement!. All small thing happened to my sayang would be treated as serious due to the fact that she keeps getting this weird high fever during the end of this trimester which is big NO NO for anyone who is having a child -- from what i gathered from her doc. Now, the edd of 'aaliah was 21 April and my wife's birthday is on the 1st of April.. heheh honestly, the word induced labor keeps hitting my head as the thought of celebrating 2 most wonderful women in my life on the same date seems to be "gempak" kan?? heheheh...

But after deliberating and discussing with both families, it felt that natural labor is the best thing that could happen in any womens's life and my baby girl, i just leave it to Allah to determine when and where hehehe. Okay back to the final weeks.

39 Week 3 days
Met with Prof Siti Zawiyah from UMSC (University Malaya Specilaist Center), my wife's Doc, and somehow weird and sad news emerges. It looks like that my daughter has already disengage from its labor passage - she is perfectly aligned the previous week. We're both were like??? Why? Then those feared medical term was heard...The prof's advice was simple, try walking and tell the baby to prepare him/herself for delivery. Hehehehe... It was sillt then, but now when i think about it, it helped alot hehehehe.

Doc: last resort, we need to perform caesarean if the baby swivels.. emmmm, i was seriously taken aback. Shit...

Seriously i remembered there was silence all the way back to Kelana Jaya... That night we finaly told both of our family about the issue... My dad's first response was.. dugaan... He asked us don't to be that worried and leave it to god and pray to Him so that everythings gonna be fine.. Didi,my younger brother suggested that we perform sembahyang hajat, qiamulail, etc etc. That night i didnt sleep. We both didn’t sleep. My mind was wondering around. That night all of our family performed sembahyang hajat...

39 Weeks 4th day
We met the doc again and my wife had a complete 3d scan but still there were no significant change from yesterday. At this time, she decided that she wanted to walk and talk to our baby and we choose midvalley as our testing ground hehehe. Luckily after a few calls, we managed to meet up with Ina and Laila and i had a briliant idea my self hehehe.. While they were roaming midvalley together, i've decided to check out " Jangan Pandang Belakang" heheheh... i think its worth the 8 bucks i paid heheheh..

After the "cuak" movie heheheh, we proceeded to buy some baby related books and also a gym ball in MPH. I heard that this gymball suppose to ease and help up the delivery process hehehe. And yeah, we ate some durians that day heheehh.. Our 'Aaliah got to taste durians already hehehehe.. Proceeded back to what i thought to be an ordinary night hehehehe....

9pm + heheheh
As i was about to blow the gymball, i heard my complaining about some water coming out of her heheh... i thought she accidentaly pissed r what but opun inspection i realized that her waterbag just broke.... damn.. its the first time i felt useless and hopeless... hahahha i was running around like mad, shouting heheehehhe My parents asked me to calm down and proceeded to go to UMSC. My bro didi drove like mad... its 11.30pm and he managed to get us to umsc in 10 minutes flat hahahahaah.... Nad got admitted and i stayed there for the whole night hehehe.. syukur, everything was okay.

The next day
It was a waiting game. Doc and nurses had checked and the opening is just a mere 3cm. (It takes up to 8 or 10cm to initiate a normal delivery). Nad just acted cool and just smiled whenever i point my new d80 camera to her hehehe. But honestly she said that it wasn’t that bad although she can feel the contraction, it was not that painful. Come 12pm, i could start to see her in pain. Every time the contraction came, her grip was tight and her expression was so sad.. i can just give her support and remind her to almighty god Allah.. Checked the opening at 3 pm but it was still a mere 3cm and caesarean came into mind again. Demmit.

The Moment of TRUTH
I personally thought that day was a miracle and a blessing from Allah. The last time the doc checked before making a decision whether a caesarean or a normal delivery would take place, the opening came to a staggering 8 cm!!! Thank god! This was at 4pm. Then suddenly all the calmness became chaos! Every nurse ran and positioned all the equipment to prepare my ‘Aaliah to the world. At this time the contraction became so frequent with a minute or two intervals and at 80 to 90% intensity. This is a clear indication that the miracle moment is getting nearer. After all was set, i sat beside my wife holding her hands and suddenly to my amazement, our Prod Dr Siti Zawiyah told me that everything’s gonna be fine and ask me to capture those amazing moments. I just took my trust camera and began shooting like crazy. Then after 2 consequent push, Nad gave her all and ‘Aaliah came into the world, healthy, strong and opened her eyes 3 ~4 minutes after the ordeal.

The doc quickly gave ‘aaliah to my wife (i think this is important for the baby to establish a unique connection between her mother/father) before washing her clean and proceeded to another check-up given by also a baby specialist, Dr Lim to verify that all is okay.

Wow.. can’t imagine how long i’ve been typing.. will continue more on the next entry.
